We are looking for someone who has experience managing complex employee relations cases, including discrimination claims, bullying or harassment, complex medical cases, as well as experience negotiating with legal representatives and liaising with tribunals regarding claims including preparing ET3’s and witness statements. You will hold high attention to detail, be an articulate communicator and able to argue and negotiate on key points of law. Resilience is key, as due to the nature of the role you will be dealing with claimants and respondents in what is typically an emotive issue. Due to deadlines imposed by the tribunal service, you will have the ability to remain calm under pressure and the ability to prioritise multiple work commitments and deadlines.
We can provide an environment where you will develop your employment law knowledge by managing a varied caseload, whilst working towards your formal qualification as an Employment Associate. The route of qualifying will depend on your existing qualifications (as well as meeting the minimum regulatory requirements).
We offer a hybrid working arrangement which means we can only consider individuals who can commute to either our city-centre Bristol or Bedwas offices. If you live outside of these areas and are willing to relocate please contact us to discuss as we may be able to support with this.
