About The Role

DAS Law Training Contract

Central Bristol or Bedwas, Caerphilly

We are on the lookout for our next generation of legal experts and aim to recruit 2 bright, ambitious and self-motivated candidates to embark on Training Contracts within DAS Law. The contract will be for a period of 2 years commencing in September 2021.

As a Trainee Solicitor in DAS Law, you will be valued and respected as an individual. During the two years you’ll spend as a Trainee, you will complete four rotational seats across a variety of areas, such as:

  • Personal Injury litigation
  • Employment litigation
  • Litigation and Dispute Management
  • Risk & Compliance (non-contentious)

About You

What we look for and how to apply:

We are seeking a talented Graduate with a Qualifying Law Degree or GDL who has already completed their LPC, or is due to complete the course by September 2021.You will be a highly motivated individual committed to developing a career in law. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and a high level of attention to detail.

Trainee Solicitor

Once we have received your application we will issue you with a written exercise that will complete your application process. Your application will not be processed unless the written exercise is completed.

The closing date for applications will be Friday 28th May 2021. We will allow until Friday 4th June 2021 to submit your answer for the written exercise.

In order for us to consider your application you will have to be available to attend an assessment centre on the week commencing 28th June 2021 (Bristol). We will contact you as soon as possible after the closing date to inform you whether you have been selected to attend an assessment centre based on the strength of your application. Please be aware that the assessment in our office is dependent on Covid guidelines at the time; we will keep you updated with any developments, as assessments may move to virtual assessments. There may also be a separate assessment in our Bedwas office if government guidelines allow. This would likely be in the week commencing 5th July 2021.
