About The Role

We have an opportunity for an Associate to join our Employment team based in central Bristol. The team undertakes a wide range of litigation work, advising on all aspects of employment law acting for both employees and employers and encourages an early level of client contact and file responsibility.

The team is a hardworking and supportive unit which lives the DAS values with a dedication to mutual respect, continuous improvement and client care.

From the outset you will be required to handle a varied caseload and to provide excellent customer service to clients of DAS Law. In addition, you can expect to:

  • Review and evaluate employment tribunal claims;
  • Assess the prospects of success and negotiate and litigate claims through the Employment Tribunal;
  • Handle a varied caseload acting for both employees and employers from initial instruction to conclusion.

About You

We would like to hear from candidates with previous employment litigation experience who can demonstrate the following knowledge and experience:

  • Excellent working knowledge of employment law and procedure;
  • The ability to run a caseload;
  • Excellent client care skills: and
  • The ability to adhere to the SRA Handbook

DAS Law is part of the DAS UK Group, which in turn forms part of the Ergo Group. We are therefore part of the world’s largest insurance group. Previously existing as a standalone law firm (CW Law) DAS Law was acquired by DAS UK Group in 2013 and is a key part of the Group’s strategy, forecast to provide year on year profitable growth within our 10 year strategy, which was agreed and commenced in 2016.

Whilst this will remain a key part of our ongoing strategy, with the full support of our shareholders we have big ambitions to grow DAS Law as an independent income generating law firm and a major player in the legal market. We will do this by building on our existing relationships and reputation to grow new and sustainable income revenue streams that will allow us to expand the services we offer our customers.
