About The Role

We have a new opportunity to join DAS Law, a forward thinking, ambitious and innovative law firm, as a Paralegal in our Employment Team on a full time, permanent basis in either central Bristol or Caerphilly, South Wales.

DAS Law operates as a fully independent law firm but are owned by the Munich Re/ERGO insurance group, so we enjoy the considerable benefits of being part of one of the world’s largest insurance companies.

Our core departments enjoy a regular supply of diverse and challenging litigation and employment instructions. In addition, we undertake work for our parent companies and for the wider legal market.

Who we are:

The Employment Team is made up of around 30 solicitors, paralegals and legal assistants. We are a dedicated team and we work in a friendly environment with regular monthly social outings. We offer exceptional levels of responsibility and pride ourselves on our levels of supervision and internal career progression. We have a strong values culture, which means you will be closely supported and mentored by your colleagues.

What do we do?

The Employment Team deals with all aspects of employment law including litigation and advisory work for both employees and employers. The type of work the team deals with on a day-to-day basis includes advising on unfair dismissal claims, discrimination and whistleblowing. The work is varied and no one case is the same as another.

 We encourage early responsibility with a real emphasis on creating opportunities to promote our lawyers from within the team. This means you will gain real “hands on” experience.

About You

If you have knowledge of employment law with a year’s experience dealing with employment cases, we’d like to hear from you

About The Company
DAS Law is part of the DAS UK Group, which in turn forms part of the Ergo Group. We are therefore part of the world’s largest insurance group. Previously existing as a standalone law firm (CW Law) DAS Law was acquired by DAS UK Group in 2013 and is a key part of the Group’s strategy, forecast to provide year on year profitable growth within our 10 year strategy, which was agreed and commenced in 2016.
