DAS Law Graduate Academy (Commencing September 2019)

The Opportunity

We have a great opportunity for ambitious law graduates to join us and become qualified legal professionals through a modern, alternative route into the profession. This dynamic and forward thinking approach will enable you to qualify as a Chartered Legal Executive through practical working experience, without the uncertainties of securing a traditional training contract or the expense of the Legal Practice Course.

The Role

You will work in a supportive, ambitious and fun environment and you will be given early responsibility to develop your legal skills.

After three years, you will have achieved the CILEx Graduate Fast-track Diploma qualification with the expectation of building your career with us.

This role is remunerated with a starting salary of £20,500 together with an exceptional package of additional benefits.

About You

You will be a highly motivated graduate committed to developing a career in law.  You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and a high level of attention to detail.  You will have an ability to empathise, think logically, and listen, and the aptitude to quickly develop a good understanding of the law.  

Entry requirements:

The Chartered Legal Executive Apprenticeship is a progression option for people holding a qualifying law degree – LLB 2:2 or above.

Please note, those who have already completed the Legal Practice or Bar Professional Training Course will not be eligible for this apprenticeship.

The closing date for applications is 14th June 2019 and we will be holding assessment centres on Friday 26th July 2019 and/or Thursday 1st August 2019/

Previously existing as a standalone law firm (CW Law) DAS Law was acquired by DAS UK Group in 2013 and is a key part of the Group’s strategy, forecast to provide year on year profitable growth within our 10 year strategy, which was agreed and commenced in 2016.
