About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity to join DAS UK Group in Dublin as Business Support (Claims). Based on site in Dublin, this position will suit somebody with good communication skills and a basic knowledge of the insurance and legal markets.

Working as part of team that is passionate about delivering excellent customer service, you can expect to:

  • Liaise with the Claims Operations Manager and Team in relation to all claims administrative work;
  • Prepare briefs for Counsel;
  • Manage car hire on claims including payment of invoices and keeping the car hire log up to date;
  • Liaise with Solicitors and Brokers regarding the web claims enquiry system:
  • Deal with a variety of claims including motor claims, debt recovery and revenue audit;
  • Obtain information from callers requiring legal advice, accurately complete online forms and pass to the legal advisors;
  • Provide updates to policyholders regarding claims;
  • Follow up with Insurers for updates;
  • Advise DAS customers with regard to the process of proceeding with a claim;
  • Maintain a high level of service delivery working in line with the department SLA’s;
  • Understand what constitutes a complaint and act swiftly to pass to the relevant team;
  • Handling all other requirements of administration/support/claim function as the needs of the business dictates
About You

We are looking for Business Support candidates who have:

  • A minimum of two years’ experience with an insurance and/or claims, customer facing or service environment;
  • An ability to demonstrate good customer service;
  • The ability to communicate at all levels and in all formats in a clear, practical and informative way;
  • An ability to work towards deadlines and apply a good level of time management;
  • A desire to improve and take ownership of personal development;
  • Good keyboard and telephone skills; and
  • An aptitude to work with different computer and telephony packages.
