About The Role

We have an exciting new opportunity to join DAS UK Group in Dublin as an Administration and Operations Executive. Working as part of team that is passionate about delivering excellent customer service, you will help to assist motorists, private individuals and business on a range of legal protection and legal service products.

As an Administration and Operations Executive you will be:

  • Liaising with Head of Operations, Administration Team Leader and the Team in relation to all administration and operations work;
  • Developing projects and managing/co-ordinating on a day to day basis;
  • Ensuring that all company projects are managed according to the DAS Project Framework and ERGO Steering Manual;
  • Ensuring that all projects are managed using recognised governance appropriately;
  • Actively working with Senior Management in Ireland to deliver increased value to the business;
  • Ensuring that all reporting is accurate, informative and delivered on time, especially the Risk and Audit Committee reporting and the Company Project Register;
  • Able to understand the information required to adhere to Data Protection Policies and identify/report any data breaches;
  • Working with Operational Underwriting to include:
    • Providing quotations;
    • Setting up policies – holding covered and live;
    • Any necessary policy adjustments during the term of cover;
    • Renewal of policies.
  • Assisting Credit Control with the receipt of premium, bordereaux input and issuing of statements;
  • Dealing with the administration and investigation of complaints;
  • Obtaining information from callers requiring legal advice, accurately completing online forms and passing to the legal advisors;
  • Able to understand and uphold all regulatory requirements set out by the Central Bank and escalate when appropriate;
  • Handling all other requirements of administration/support function as the needs of the business dictates; and
  • Assisting First Line when needed to include:
    • Understanding the workings of the call centre
    • Answering First Line Calls
    • Ability to input claims and understand documentation and follow up procedures
About You

We are looking for candidates who have obtained the Minimum Competency in insurance or are working towards completing their exams and who have:

  • A basic knowledge of the legal market with a minimum two years’ experience within an insurance and /or claims environment or customer facing environment;
  • An ability to demonstrate good customer service
  • An ability to communicate at all levels in a clear, practical and informative way;
  • A desire to develop self-acquisition of new skills and knowledge with an ability to self-motivate;
  • The ability to work towards deadlines and apply a good level of time management. Organise workload in line with Company Service Standards keeping accurate records; and
  • Experience of using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint with an aptitude to work with different computer and telephony packages.

It is desirable not essential if the successful candidate has:

  • Experience with IBM Cognos Packages
  • Experience with AS400 systems
  • Accounts experience
