About The Role

We are looking for an Account Manager to join a market leading insurer and legal services provider, DAS on a full time permanent basis.  Based in Dublin, the primary responsibility of this role is to identify, build and convert new business opportunities for the insurance business. As a result, you will work alongside the Sales team to shape our proposition and deliver real benefit for both our clients and customers.

As an Account Manager your tasks will include but will not be limited to:

  • Working with the key business partners including National and local Broker networks, MGA’s and other distribution channels to ensure that plans and strategies for each Key Accounts are effectively implemented;
  • Working with the Head of Sales and Marketing to deliver a business strategy that provides profitable growth in line with the Insurance Business Plan;
  • Identifying, developing and maintaining secure and trusted relationships with potential accounts;
  • Understanding our clients and customers’ needs and translating these into compelling propositions; and
  • Working collective and productively with a wide range of stakeholders.
About You

As an Account Manager you will have:

  • Strong understanding, knowledge and experience of Financial Services and/or Insurance markets;
  • Experience of working in a client facing role e.g. New/Existing Business Development;
  • Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to influence at all levels;
  • The ability to work with key internal partners to establish sound personal working relationships;
  • Strong communication and structured organisational capability;
  • A proactive attitude with the ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines; and
  • A commercially astute understanding of the key components and levers in a profit and loss account.
