Business Support Executive (Claims)

About The Role

A Business Support Executive is required to join a market leading insurer and legal services provider DAS in Dublin

The role will be within the Claims team and the successful candidate will be required to have good communication skills, both verbal and written. The job holder will also have a basic knowledge of the insurance and legal markets. They will be expected to be customer focused and be able to work well as part of a team. 

As the Business Support Executive you will be

  • Liaising with Claims Operations Manager and Team in relation to all claims admin work

  • Responsible for the preparation of Briefs for Counsel

  • Managing Car Hire on Claims – responsible for payment of invoices, keeping the car hire log up to date

  • Liaising with Solicitors & Brokers regarding the web claims enquiry system

  • Dealing with the following claims:-

    • Motor Claims

    • Debt Recovery

    • Revenue Audit

  • Obtaining information from callers requiring legal advice, accurately completing online forms and passing to the legal advisors


    About You

    As an experienced Business Support Executive you will have:

    • A minimum of two years’ experience with an insurance and/or claims environment/or customer facing or service environment.

    • The ability to demonstrate good customer service

    • The ability to communicate at all levels and on all formats in a clear, practical and informative way.

    • A track record of delivering a high quality performance.

    • The desire to improve and take ownership of own personal development.

    • An aptitude to work with different computer and telephony packages
