About The Role

DAS UK Group, a market-leading insurance and legal services provider, has an exciting opportunity for a Service Delivery Engineer to join the IT Operations team in central Bristol. This role is pivotal to providing appropriate technical support for hardware, software and networks across the business Based in modern offices between Cabot Circus and Temple Meads station, we offer excellent transport links and flexible working opportunities.

In this key role, the successful candidate will work with colleagues in the Service Delivery team to manage incidents and service requests and work with internal colleagues in the IT Operations team for DAS Group and third parties in order to deliver technical services. You’ll focus on solving customer’s problems, and respond to incidents and service requests in an efficient and timely manner, whilst maintaining compliance and protecting the company’s information.

This position would suit someone in the beginning of their career, but we are seeking candidates with at least 6 months  proven experience in supporting and maintaining end-user computing solutions including physical desktops, mobile devices (laptops, tablets, smart phones), printers, and end-device security and remote access technologies as well as experience in supporting a VMware based Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (View, vCentre, vSphere). Knowledge of mobile device management technologies (AirWatch), Microsoft Azure and AWS is highly desirable.

Whilst this is a full time, permanent position we support flexible working and are open to discuss flexible working options.

Please note that on occasion we may require this role to cover flexible working patterns, on call, providing cover and working remotely when necessary.
