About The Role

Our Personal Injury team is looking to further bolster its expertise and capabilities and is seeking candidates for the role of Senior Associate to join the Multi Track team in central Bristol.

The department currently consists of around 80 solicitors, legal executives, paralegals and legal assistants. We work in a friendly and vibrant atmosphere, whilst ensuring our clients are provided with the best possible service with each member of staff being given early responsibility for their own caseload with structured supervision and support to enable individual development

As a Senior Associate you will be part of one of the biggest claimant departments in the region and will assist and support the Team Leader in the management of the Multi Track team. In addition, you can expect to:

  • Run a caseload of technical and complex and/or high value matters from start to finish with minimal supervision;
  • Supervise at least one person with a view to developing their technical and legal expertise in the complex case environment;
  • Foster and grow lasting client relationships and have the ability to use technical expertise and knowledge to grow new business from existing or new clients;
  • Take the lead on wider roles aimed at sharing technical expertise including training, thought leadership, article writing, profile building and client seminars;
  • Deputise for the team leader as and when appropriate; and
  • Provide high quality and efficient customer service involving liaising with external clients, Court Members and Solicitors.

About You

We’d like to hear from qualified solicitors or FILEXs who can work in a busy fast-paced environment and who have:

  • Demonstrable experience of handling a caseload in a Multi-Track team environment, including litigated case experience;
  • Evidence of providing technical supervision to colleagues;
  • Excellent legal analytical skills;
  • Knowledge of litigation tactics and an understanding of the Code of Rehabilitations required;
  • Knowledge of Civil Procedure Rules relevant to Personal Injury claims; and
