About The Role

DAS UK Group have an exciting opportunity for personable and organised Receptionists to join us in our brand new office in central Bristol close to Temple Meads Station. Working closely with another receptionist, you will meet and greet guests in to the office, set up board rooms for meetings and manage room booking systems, whilst supporting the wider Facilities team.

Our reception desk will need to cover the hours of 8am – 6pm Monday to Friday therefore we are looking for individuals on a full-time or part time basis to cover these hours. Individual requirements can be discussed at interview stage.

Additional responsibilities of the role include:

  • Meeting and greeting visitors to the building whilst ensuring the reception area is kept tidy and clean;
  • Overseeing the meeting room and desk booking system, producing reports on use as and when required;
  • Setting up the Training Room (multi-function space) for activities, this will involve moving furniture;
  • Liaising with the on-site catering service and PA’s to ensure that refreshments / food is provided as and when required to meeting rooms;
  • Managing the issuing of temporary passes for employees, visitors and contractors;
  • Liaising with the building security teams regarding visitors to the building;
  • Managing the on-site and off-site car parking;
  • Responsible for ensuring the safety of visitors in emergency situations, such as a fire evacuation and acting as a fire marshal for the floor;
  • Supporting the facilities team with ad-hoc tasks as and when required
About You

We are looking for individuals with the following skills & experience:

  • Professional and flexible approach to deal with a variety of people at all levels
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Knowledge in the use of Microsoft packages such as Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to deal with multiple tasks, under pressure whilst using your initiative
  • Either first aid trained or willing to undertake the necessary training
  • Familiarity with the use of AV equipment or the desire to learn and understand. Full training will be provided.
