About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity to join our HR team at DAS UK Group. Reporting into the Head of HR, Insurance and talent, and working closely with the Resourcing Partner, this role is responsible for sourcing and screening suitable candidates for a diverse range of roles. We operate a direct sourcing model here at DAS so an important part of your role will be creating talent pipelines and proactively mapping the market

This role will ensure the candidate management process is effective, compliant and timely, whilst also being responsible for screening, managing and guiding candidates, from introduction to induction. You will be expected to provide a high quality recruitment process which is agile, focussed on business need, and expertly delivered with enthusiasm and professionalism.

Your main tasks will include:

  • Providing a credible, approachable and highly knowledgeable point of contact for candidates and third party suppliers in regards to the recruitment requirements across the business;
  • ensuring a seamless and swift recruitment process with appropriate involvement from the Hiring Manager;
  • providing a seamless and positive candidate experience whilst ensuring robust and appropriate screening and assessment is in place;
  • effective use of candidate sourcing methods to identify and approach talent;
  • building and maintaining engagement with external talent across the business needs;
  • fostering and maintaining effective and mutually beneficial relationships with third agency suppliers;
  • enhancing talent attraction opportunity and recruitment performance by identifying and driving through approaches and initiatives;
  • developing direct delivery recruitment campaigns that are flexible for all areas of the business;
  • working to raise the profile of the Recruitment and wider HR team within the business;
  • providing advice, guidance and expert execution of attraction campaigns and proactively managing responses;
  • ensuring the appropriate advertising media is used to maximise employer brand profile and attraction;
  • planning and prioritising own time to deliver both business as usual recruitment processes and project based activities;
  • ·operating in a collegiate and supportive manner both with the HR teams and the wider business;
  • providing meaningful, accurate and concise reporting and management information; and
  • ensuring the recruitment process is run in compliance with all appropriate legislation and regulation such as Data Protection Act, the Equality Act and the Agency Workers Regulations etc. and
  • working collaboratively with the Resourcing Partner to provide up to date industry knowledge to DAS UK Group and DAS Law.

About You
 As an experienced Resourcer you will have:
  • Previous experience of recruiting high volume and fee earning roles, preferably within an in-house or agency role;
  • previous experience of using applicant tracking systems or online recruitment systems;
  • experience and knowledge of recruitment best practice, process, policy and awareness of the appropriate legislation;
  • strong experience of direct candidate attraction and proactive candidate sourcing techniques to include identification of passive talent pools;
  • excellent organisation and planning skills;
  • the ability to work at pace whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail;
  • the ability to manage own time effectively, prioritising tasks when required, multitasking and meeting deadlines;
  • be a positive agent for change – driving through and owning new ideas and initiatives;
  • an advanced aptitude in English and Maths;
  • excellent IT capabilities spanning MS Office (particularly Outlook, Word and Excel), internet searching and capacity to swiftly pick up bespoke IT systems and tools including the use of Applicant Tracking Systems;
  • eager to learn and grow as the role develops;
  • experience of emerging talent recruitment programmes (graduate placements, apprenticeships etc) – desirable;
  • previous experience of talent mapping and headhunting – desirable; and
  • experience or exposure to the use of assessment tools and techniques such as competency based interviewing, psychometric testing, assessment centre facilitation – desirable.
