About The Role

We are looking for a Broker Account Manager to join DAS in London. As an integral part of the team you will take responsibility for maximising the development and growth of DAS insurance products via the Broker, Intermediary and Litigation Funder distribution channels.  

The role entails generating and completing new business opportunities, maintaining and developing existing business partner relationships and dealing with general product and sales enquires. The role will require the promotion of insurance products to current and potential new business partners via face-to-face client meetings, presentations and industry conference events.

As a Broker Account Manager you will.

  • Develop and maintain secure and trusted relationships with allocated Broker and Intermediary business partners; 
  • win, retain and grow business in line with department and corporate business plans;
  • identify and qualify opportunities to develop new business and enhance existing relationships with the allocated business partners to ensure we extract the maximum commercial value;
  • deliver new business propositions that demonstrate our market leading position and present DAS as the provider of choice;
  • monitor the performance of each business partner on an ongoing basis to ensure continued delivery of case volumes and loss ratios to meet profitability targets;
  • ensure business partners are aligned with our values and our approach to sales
  • effectively negotiate with existing and prospect business partners; and
  • present sales opportunities to the business in line with our appetite, values and strategic ambitions. 
About You

As the Broker Account Manager you will have:

  • experience in legal, legal services, insurance, underwriting or other relevant industry experience;
  • a tenacious and driven approach to exceeding individual and departmental targets;
  • the ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all organisational levels;
  • experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs;
  • the ability to manage and deliver/resolve multiple business partner requirements and queries according to strict timescales;
  • proven account management skills and evidence of growth within allocated accounts;
  • the ability to identify, quantify, qualify and ‘cold call’ prospective business partners and respond quickly to sales enquires;
  • proven new business sales track record and demonstrable evidence of achieving sales targets;
  • self-motivation with the ability to work equally as a team player or independently with little supervision; and
  • high level organisational and time management skills.
